Ensembles

Our Programs

Wind Ensemble, Symphonic, and Concert Bands

The Rampart Wind Ensemble, Symphonic, and Concert Bands are the core of our instrumental music program.  Each band rehearses year round and has their own schedule of performances and festivals.  Student’s wishing to join the symphonic band and wind ensemble are required to audition and private lessons are highly recommended. Rehearsals are held during school with extra sectionals, rehearsals, and clinics being scheduled from time to time outside of the school day. Attendance at extra sectionals, rehearsals, and clinics is mandatory. Attendance for concerts and festivals are also mandatory.

The Rampart Regiment

The Rampart Regiment is open to students who display a highly proficient standard of music and marching performance as accepted by the instructional staff. Practices begin at the beginning of the summer and last throughout the summer. Marching season continues throughout the first nine to ten weeks of the school year. Performances for the Marching Band include but are not limited to all home varsity football games, pep rallies, parades, and marching competitions throughout the season.  Click here to learn more about the Rampart Regiment’s History and information on how to join or support our season.

Advanced Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble

The Rampart Jazz program consists of two big bands, as well as student combos.  Both big bands (Jazz Ensemble 1 and Advanced Jazz Ensemble) are only open to students through audition.  Student combos are made up and directed by students within the two bands, and rehearse outside of the school day.  The Rampart Jazz program also performs at several festivals and concerts throughout the year and has been a featured performer at the “Dazzle” Jazz club in the Denver Metro Area.
