Chaperones
Each marching band season typically includes an overnight trip where chaperones are required. This year, the band will be performing at Disneyland.
Chaperones are assigned to a specific bus and group of students during trips and play an important role in keeping students safe, organized, and on schedule.
Responsibilities include conducting roll calls before departures, supervising students at all times, helping support school and band rules, and ensuring students travel and stay in appropriate groups.
Chaperones also assist with basic logistics such as monitoring buses and hotel rooms, helping maintain order during uniform changes and transitions, and communicating with staff in the event of any concerns or emergencies. Their presence helps ensure trips run smoothly while providing students with a safe, positive experience.
