Concert Bands & Ensembles

2023-2024 CONCERT BAND SCHEDULE

The Concert Bands are the core of the Rampart Instrumental Music (RIM) program. The RIM program provides the students musical growth, experiences, and a strong core of musical education through the concert performance ensembles. Each class requires a year-long commitment of great music-making. Rehearsals are year-round during the school day, with extra sectionals, rehearsals, and clinics being scheduled from time-to-time outside of the school day, as needed to prepare for performances and/or competitions. The Concert Bands perform in all Rampart High School band concert cycles and participate in Pep Bands/Assemblies, as requested.

We believe in teaching our student to play well, to develop listening skills and ensemble sensitivity, and to express themselves confidently in music. But most importantly, we teach our students to be respectful and hard-working members of a “team” persevering together towards goals that we cannot reach alone. – Keith Acuncius, RHS Band Director
