Prop Construction
This is a great opportunity to get to know other parents in a smaller, more relaxed setting—separate from the wonderful hustle and bustle of performance days.
This year’s show will once again include props! Specific details will be shared during the information night in April. The directors are collaborating with other bands that have used similar designs in the past to gather plans, blueprints, and materials lists. A prop master will lead the build and help coordinate the project.
Our goal is to complete one fully functional prototype by the end of May, with the full set of props ready by band camp at the end of July.
Most of the work takes place in the evenings and on weekends throughout the late spring and early summer. In past years, a small core group has worked consistently, with other parents joining in whenever they are available.
We will collect contact information from interested parents and send text updates when work dates and times are scheduled. You are welcome to join as often as you like.
No experience or fingerprinting is required for this role.
Please send questions to our Logistics Coordinator.
