Truck Driving Volunteer Description:
As a truck driving volunteer, you will pick up a 26-foot moving truck from Penske and drive it to Rampart for loading. From there, you will transport equipment to the venue for a football game or competition. After the performance, you will return the truck to Rampart for unloading, and then drive it back to Penske.
For football games, the time commitment is typically from about 1:30–4:00 PM, and then again from approximately 9:00–11:00 PM. On competition days, drivers may be needed anywhere from 7:00 AM–12:00 PM and again from 9:00 PM–midnight. Please note that these times are approximate and depend on the competition schedule.
Some volunteers choose to assist with loading and unloading the truck, though this is not required. Shifts can be split; however, this may be challenging due to the need to coordinate transportation between Rampart and Penske rather than leaving personal vehicles at Penske for the day.
Fingerprinting is required for this role.
